Chico

Chico is a 7-year-old Bull Terrier/JRT mix who has been in foster care for some time now.  He is a very healthy, strong and energetic dog.  Chico is neutered and up to date on all shots.  He is a very lovable and loyal dog towards his foster family.   His favorite activity is playing ball which he will do for hours if you let him!  Chico gets along with other stable, well-mannered dogs.  He can be a bit food aggressive so we feed him in his crate.  We do not allow him to share toys or balls with the other dogs in the home.

His personality at play is best described as a linebacker in a dog suit!  Chico is not good around cats and he will require a fully fenced in yard when outside.  He can’t use a radio collar electronic fence since he has already been trained to use an e-collar.  Chico requires at least 30 minutes of exercise daily but he will certainly play for longer periods of time if you let him!  He sleeps well in his crate at night.  Due to his physical strength, we don’t recommend him for a home with young children.  He can be very protective of his family when strangers are around.  He does take time to warm up to new people.  If you would like to make Chico the newest member of your family, please contact MAJR and complete an application at www.majr .org.

Princeton Pee Wee

Princeton and Pee Wee

Princeton and Pee Wee are a bonded pair who were surrendered to ACCT in Philly in February 2016.  These sweet boys are Jack Russell/Chinese Crested mix (which accounts for what was thought to have been hair loss) and they are currently being fostered in the suburbs of Philly.

They are neutered, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccinations. This bonded pair gets along with cats and dogs and they love to go on walks (they are great on leash).  They are love bugs and enjoy playing and giving kisses and snuggling with humans or each other.  In fact, when you see one of them, the other is bound to be very close by!

Princeton is 8 years old and is the smaller/shorter of the two. He has more body hair than Pee Wee, with black and white markings on his back.  Princeton weighs about 20 pounds and takes phenobarbital for seizure disorder (with medication, he has been seizure free without any issue).  Pee Wee is 9 years old and weighs about 21 pounds.  He is the taller of the two and has much less body hair than Princeton.  These boys have lived their entire lives together so we want them to stay together. There will be a discounted rate for the adoption fee.

Please consider adding this dynamic duo to your family!  You won't regret it.

Please contact MAJR at majrinc@gmail.com for more information.

Patches

Patches

Please meet Patches. He is about 2 years old and was an owner surrender from Maryland. He was surrendered because he wasn't behaving or listening. Funny thing is he probably couldn't hear to obey. Although we haven't done a BAER test on Patches, we think he can hear a little bit but not a lot.

Patches lives happily with 7 other dogs of different sizes and ages (including an intact male) and one old cat. He sleeps in the bed (and under the covers). He will play with other dogs for brief periods and his foster every once in a while but he tends to a loner.

Patches likes to be around people but he has not shown himself to be a very affectionate dog. He likes to be petted and to cuddle but there are times when he would prefer to just be close without being touched and will let his people know which he prefers. Because Patches has strong bite inhibition, he has not broken skin but he will look scary and he will nip if you don't listen.

Patches loves to go for walks but he does not to well in crowds and with strangers. He doesn't do well in situations where there is a lot of movement around him and situations he doesn't understand. He would not be good with children or senior citizens.  Patches is also a tail chaser . We have been working to resolve this habit and he is much better . He can also be crate aggressive. He will growl and lunge at the crate door . Since he is housebroken, there is not much need to crate.

Patches needs a special owner who understands the challenges presented to deaf dogs and one who is willing to support him without enabling with fear. He will do best with a quiet private person looking for a companion to go for walks and just have another being in the house. Because he is not good with strangers , whoever adopts Patches will need to be willing to give him several weeks for him to find his way and adjust to his new home and new schedules. He will also need someone familiar with alternative medicine to help with his tail chasing and fears. Patches has not done well with conventional medicine but is reacting really well to homeopathy, herbs and a mostly raw diet.

I know Patches doesn't sound perfect but he is a great little dog now that he is better balanced mentally and we understand his body language. If you are willing to give him a chance and time, he will be a great companion.

If you'd like to offer Patches a forever home, please apply contact us.

Riley

Riley

Riley is a precious Jack Russell mix.  He is neutered, up to date on his shots and per his recent vet visit, Riley is in excellent health.  He is a playful 6-7 yr. old dog and full of a contagious joy!

He gets along great with the small dogs and cat in his foster home and loves to run and play outside in the fenced yard. He has awoken his foster sister’s playful spirit!  It is important to note that he does not welcome other dogs into his foster home so with regards to strange dogs, he is territorial.

Riley is very polite when company comes and is good with children. He loves everyone he meets! His basic obedience skills are strong and he has learned very quickly in his foster home. He needs continued work on his recall but with time and patience, he will be excellent.  He is very submissive to his foster mom and responds to gentle, positive encouragement.  If training is made fun for Riley, there is no limit to what he could learn!

Riley likes to take walks and rides in the car.  He would love a fenced yard and another dog to play with.  Riley would make a wonderful companion for children 10 years old and over.  He is a very special dog with so much love and joy in his heart.  If you think you could give Riley the love and home that he needs, please fill out an adoption application.

If you'd like to offer Riley a forever home, please contact us.

Chicko

Chicko

Hi, my name is Chicko and I’m a year old JRT/Chi mix. I’m a super fun and active puppy. I like to play fetch and can run all day. I get along with other dogs as long as they don’t mind me being the boss. I don’t seem to mind cats. I was scared when I first went to my foster family’s house, where I did bite an adult and child. I have been doing much better and my behavior is more trusting, so I haven’t shown any aggression recently. I’m still leery of strangers, so it takes me time to warm up to people. I would do best in a family without young children because they are more unpredictable which makes me scared. I’m super smart and have been working on my obedience. I’m house trained and don’t mind being in a kennel when my family is at work. I need to stay in a safe area when I’m unsupervised because, being a puppy, I like to chew things.

Prior to coming into MAJR, I did have surgery in November of 2016 for swallowing something I shouldn’t have and it had to be removed from my stomach. I’m neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on shots so if you'd like to make me part of your family, please contact MAJR majrinc@gmail.com for more information.

Spot

Spot

Hi...my name is Spot. I am 8 years old. I would really like to find my furever home. I get along with other dogs but I really have no interest in them. I prefer to be with people. I need a home with no children. I love to go on long car rides and play with my toys. I am crate trained but I really don't need one cause I'm such a good boy. I'm trustworthy when left alone in the house. I love to snuggle and sleep under the blankets. I do have a heart murmur so though I love to go on walks, I'm not the kind of guy who will be able to go on long hikes with you. So if anyone out there is looking for a special friend I'm your boy. I just want my very own person to love and spend time with me.

Lucy Bean

Lucy Bean

Lucy Bean is a 13 year old Jack Russell mix. She is a petite girl only weighing 11 pounds. Lucy Bean lost her home when her only owner went into a nursing home. She ended up in a high kill shelter in Williamsburg Virginia. Lucy Bean gets along well with other dogs and cats. She loves everyone including children. Lucy is deaf and almost blind so I don't recommend young children around her. She requires eyedrops daily for chronic dry eye. She is up-to-date on all of her shots, microchipped and on heartworm prevention.

Lucy suffers from separation anxiety. She sleeps in bed with her foster mom, and sleeps through the night. There is nothing she loves more than being with her person. Because of her age, she needs to go out more often then a younger dog. The ideal home for Lucy would be a stay at home mom, someone who works from home, or a retired person. Lucy loves to go on car rides. She walks great on a leash. She loves to go shopping when the stores allow her to go in. She's just a wonderful little dog that is full of love.

Lucy Bean does not like to be crated at all, she has panic attacks when put into the crate. She is the perfect lapdog that would love a forever home. If you think Lucy Bean is the right dog for you, please fill out MAJR's Adoption form.

Witherspoon

Witherspoon

Miss Witherspoon ("Reece") is a ten year old JRT who found herself without a home over the holidays when her family discovered she has diabetes. Reece's diabetic needs are very simple and inexpensive. She is now on 3 units of insulin twice daily and doing extremely well! She is super good for her shots! We have her eating 4 Health lower carb canned food from Tractor Supply 2x daily (1/2 can 2x daily) and her weight is now perfect. She loves pieces of fruit and veggies as occasional healthy treats. Reece is such a sweet sweet girl! She prefers to be near us at all times and either lays quietly at our feet or follows us from room to room as we go about our day. She has a funny playful side and will go from a quiet snuggle to bounding around the room with a ball. She barked at our cats when she first arrived as if she had never seen one before but never aggressively. Now they all hang out with no issues. She plays outside with the kids, following them around. She loves to ride in the car but hates to be kenneled, preferring to be buckled in like one of the kids! She would be a fabulous girl for someone who is home a lot as she loves to be near us and tries to go out to the car when we are preparing to leave for the day. She wants to go too! Reece is available for adoption through Mid Atlantic Jack Rescue

Bingo

Bingo

Bingo is a 10-12 year old neutered male Jack Russell who lost his home due to personality issues with a new family member. He is up to date on shots, housebroken and crate trained. After some initial growing pains, Bingo is getting along with the other dogs in his foster home. He has no food or toy aggression. Bingo is very friendly with anyone he meets and enjoys being scratched and stroked and is beginning to want to play a bit. He has some lumps on his body but they have been biopsied and found not to be cancerous. Bingo does not jump up like most Jacks nor does he get on furniture or beds. Though he would probably be happiest in a home as an only dog, he would be able to cohabitate with another small dog.

If you’d like to make Bingo your newest family member, please contact MAJR.

Petey

Petey

Hi, my name is Petey (Peter if I’m feeling fancy) and I’m a 9 year old Jack Russel Terrier mix. My foster family thinks it’s funny to say I look like I’m 9 going on 90, but don’t let that fool you, I don’t act like a 9 year old: I’m quite the spunky little fellow! I love to trick people into thinking I’m a rickety old man, so they don’t have high expectations of me—but I can still jump up onto the couch, chase the cats onto counters, and I play a mean game of tug-of-war. I even jumped over a large suitcase, onto a shelf to chase one of those pesky cats. In other words: don’t be fooled by my “little old-man” shtick, it’s all for show.

I would probably do best in a home without cats, as I LOVE to chase, bark, and harass them; however, I’m fine with other dogs as long as they’re nice to me. I currently live with a 7-year-old Beagle/Spaniel mix and she and I ignore each other mostly; she likes to steal my bones, but I don’t seem to mind. My foster mom thinks I would do best in a home without young children as I don’t like for my muzzle to be touched (I had surgery there), and I definitely don’t like being picked up—but once you know my likes and dislikes, I’m pretty easy to manage and A LOT of fun to play with.

I love to be pet and scratched and spend most of my day sleeping (chasing cats really takes it out of me). I am currently taking Cosequin for my joints, but have no issue navigating stairs or hardwood floors. My hearing isn’t the best (at least we think, it’s possible I have selective hearing), but if you clap and wave to let me know where you are I will come running. I did have a few accidents when I first came home with my foster mom and wasn’t sure of the routine. Now that I have settled into my home and regular routine, I very rarely have any accidents. It’s best if I can go out every 6-8 hours, and once I know you—I have no shame in barking at you to let you know I need to go out. With a little patience, understanding—and a love of Jack Russell Terriers—I will make the right owner very happy as I have a funny and silly personality. My foster mom thinks I’m the bees knees (aside from chasing the cats) and she can’t wait to tell you more about me!

Smitty

Smitty

Hi, my name is Smitty! I am a ten-year young Jack Russell. I am up to date with shots, microchipped, neutered and housetrained. I love playing Frisbee and returning balls. I’ll play for hours if you want but mostly I like to sleep and snuggle up close to my humans. I need an owner who can promise to allow me to be the only dog. My ideal forever home would be with someone who would not leave me for long periods of time, perhaps retired or works from home, with no children or older children who would like to play with me. A former Jack Russell owner would be perfect, since I have some dominant Jack Russell behaviors that will involve patience on your part to help me overcome. My foster mom has started working with me and she says that I am improving. I come with my crate, bed, and toys. I am available for adoption through Mid-Atlantic Jack Rescue, Inc.

Jackson

Jackson

Hi my name is Jackson (for some reason my foster mom calls me Action Jackson - don't know why since I'm a laid back kinda guy!) I think I'm 10 or so, not sure since I was a stray! I love curling up in a nice bed or blanket or lap! I was skinny as a rail but am putting weight on now and looking good although still waiting for the hair to grow back from abdominal surgery (I was so hungry I ate some gravel - opps won't do that again!) I'm neutered, UTD on my shots and am on heartworm and flea/tick medicine. I do get a little anxious in new situations but am always a nice guy! When I got to the shelter, I had a lot of bad teeth so had to have all pulled but 3 so I get soft food which is great - much less work to eat LOL! I'm also mostly deaf! I hear loud noises and whistles but I'm always around my foster mom so it's not a big problem. I've been around a 10 yo and 13 yo kid but not younger so not sure about them. My foster brother and sister chase squirrels, cats, etc but I'm pretty much live and let live! I like walks and am good on my leash.

I'm looking for a family of my own - is that you??

If you'd like to adopt Jackson, please complete an application at www.majr.org.

Weston

Murphy

Meet Murphy a/k/a Murphy’s Law!  He is a JRT from Ireland and is 10 years old.  Murphy is still intact and the vet says that he is too old to have the neuter surgery at this point.  He is a very loyal dog who loves to go for long walks and play catch with his squeaky toys.  Don’t let the number fool you as Murphy certainly doesn’t act his age!  Murphy also enjoys car rides where he loves to wear his seatbelt!  At this time, Murphy is in need of a loving family who will give him the unconditional love and attention he needs and deserves.  Murphy is micro chipped and up to date on shots.  He would do best as the only dog.  If you would like to make him part of your family, please call Lois at 908-638-8344.

Bandit

Bandit

Meet Bandit. He is a 12 year old pure bred Jack Russell in need of a home. He is currently located in Howard County, MD.

Unfortunately, his home life is not conducive to his needs. He owners have tried to make adjustments, but it has become a bit challenging with toddlers/young children in the home.

He can be possessive or guarded about his bed, toys and food, so he would probably be best suited for a home with older children or no children at all. He has been know to be selective about dogs and cats, but has been good with some after proper introduction. He is very sweet and full of love. He has a lot of terrier energy, so don't let his age fool you. He is neutered and UTD on his shots. He is house broken.

If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting him, please contact Karen at 443-289-0027.

Norman

Jax

Jax is a very sweet and smart 4-year-old Jack Russell Terrier.  He is an awesome guy who was adopted from the rescue originally as a puppy but was forced to go back into care due to some unforeseen circumstances! He loves people and attention and wants nothing more than to be near his humans! He loves to go for walks and car rides and will sleep right by your side the entire night long! He does get along with other dogs but can be a typical Jack Russell so he likes to be the boss. He would be best suited for a home with no cats or young children (older children are fine)!  Jax is neutered, current on vaccines and located in WV.  If you are interested in adopting Jax, please email the rescue at dakotas.dream@hotmail.com. You may also call a volunteer at 540-323-7520 to arrange an appointment.

Izzy

Izzy

Izzy is a sweet and lovable girl who is approximately 7 years old, spayed, and UTD on shots.  She is located in Central Virginia.  Izzy is pretty low key for a Jack and she gets along with other dogs; however, she will go after chickens which is why she is in need of a new home at this time.  She is very gentle with humans and would love a home to call her own.  If you would like to make Izzy a part of your family, please contact Nickee Randolph as secondchances4dogs@comcast.net.

Spice

Spice

Spice is looking for a new home due to a change in her current family’s living situation.  She is a 3-year-old Jack Russell/Australian Cattle Dog mix weighing about 26 lbs.  She is very sweet and needs someone who can give her the time and attention she deserves!

Spice loves to go for walks, loves the dog park and has even gone on bike rides so she’d be ideal for someone who is active!  She is spayed, up to date on shots, housebroken and crate trained.  Spice gets along well with dogs her size or smaller but can be a bit intimidated by dogs much larger than her.  She even likes cats but she likes to play with them as if they were dogs too so she might be a little too rough for some felines.  Spice would do best in a home with older kids (10 and older) due to her energy level.

If you’d like to make Spice the newest addition to your family, please contact Cathy at cathyL65@aol.com or you can call/text at 347-803-9044.  Spice is located in Metuchen, NJ.

Buddy

Elvis

Elvis is a four-year old Jack Russell Terrier Mix. Due to domestic and landlord issues, he needs to be rehomed. Elvis is neutered, up-to-date with the rabies vaccine, is housebroken and knows some sign language as his owner is deaf. We are recommending that he goes into a home with older children and no cats. He has gotten along with other dogs after warming up to them.

Elvis is currently in the Laurel, MD area and if you can provide him a forever home, please contact Karen at 443-618-8070.

Bo 2

Bo 2

Bo was recently surrendered to the Bucks County SPCA by his owner. She had been his third owner and had been having on-going problems with Bo's behavior for the 2 months that she had owned him. Bo would snap or growl at her often: one time when she picked him up to put him in the crate, another time when she was closing the crate door behind him, and often if she raised her voice when verbally correcting him for having pee accidents in the house. The incident that pre-empted his surrender was when he got his toe nail caught and she and her son were helping to unhook the nail-he bit her son which resulted in bite marks but no broken skin, and he also bit her which did break skin and draw blood. She quarantined Bo for 10 days in home and then surrendered him to the shelter. Bo got along great with the owner's adult son outside of the toe nail incident. He also got along great with her small dachshund and has been calm and appropriate on dog tests with other dogs at the shelter.

Bo has also snapped and growled at shelter staff once he staff tried to remove his collar and then also when attempting to trim nails. Staff and volunteers are able to leash him up for daily walks and training sessions. Due to Bo's behavior concerns, we are looking for a Jack Russell savvy rescue to pull Bo. If interested, please contact Karen Owens, Director of Animal Behavior at Bucks County SPCA in PA at kowens@bcspca.org or 267-347-4674.

Skipper

Skipper

Skipper is a 6-year-old black and white male JRT who is in need of a new home due to divorce.  Skipper suffers from chronic dry eye but he is doing very well on the medication that has been prescribed for the condition.  He still has fairly good vision, which could remain indefinitely; however, there is also a chance he will be blind at some point.  He can be a bit nippy at first due to his eye issue but he warms up quickly and loves to be with his humans (especially cuddling!).  Skipper will walk in circles when he gets excited.  He plays well with other dogs but can be a bit skittish around larger dogs.  He is crated trained and will sleep in his crate at night without issue.  Skipper is currently in NH and if you would like to add him to your family, please contact Bob at rpowell@metrocast.net or at 603-520-5658.

Sport

Sport

Sport is an approximately 14 year old Jack in rescue with North East PA Pet Fund & Rescue located in Scranton, PA. Though he has age related decreased sight, he navigates very well; however, it is best to approach him from the front and verbally first so that he knows he has your attention. He is very well socialized with other dogs, but he has not been exposed to cats. It would be best if he isn’t in a home with small children because of the slight sight problem. He weighs about 18 lbs. and is a hearty eater.

Sport likes to play with toys, especially fetch and tug of war. He is crate trained, house broken with occasional accidents in the house. He is a happy dog and his tail is wagging most of the time. He likes to go for walks, and does very well on a leash. He is smart and learns quite quickly; he is food driven. He does not like to be picked up, or disturbed when he is sleeping. Sport likes to be with his human, usually sharing your chair or bed with you. He tends to be cold at times so it is best to keep a blanket in his crate as he usually buries himself in it. He will let you know his boundaries by growling, if further provoked, he will show you his teeth but he isn’t aggressive. Sport does bark especially if he doesn’t have his human around. He will let you know when he’s hungry that way too! He sleeps well (about 8-9 hours a night) and will nap during the day.

There must be a loving family out there for Sport! If you’d like to make him part of yours, please contact the rescue at www.nepapet.com or on Facebook by looking for North East PA Pet Fund & Rescue.

Milo

Milo

Milo is an adorable 3 year old Parsons Jack Russell Terrier (long legged) who is in need of a new home due to his current owner’s work schedule which leaves Milo home alone for long periods of time. He is neutered, up to date on his shots and is in good physical health. Milo loves to run, so someone with a large, fenced in back yard would be ideal. Milo also loves to cuddle up wherever his human is sitting or lying down. He is crate trained and does well in the crate through the night. Milo has the run of the house when his owners are out and he does fine without any issues. Milo does have a history of fear aggression and would be best without small children in the home. He also has some aggression around toys and food so he would be best as an only dog. He definitely needs an experienced Jack owner. Milo has been prescribed Prozac for anxiety but has never seen a professional trainer. Given his young age, it would probably be helpful for him to get some training so he has a better chance of a happy and healthy life. If you’d like to give Milo a home, please contact Rich at Rnagel3879@gmail.com. Milo is currently in Bensalem, PA.

Camden
>

Camden aka "Cam"

Camden aka "Cam" is a 15-month-old JRT who is very energetic, with lots of love and loyalty to give. He is neutered and up to date on all shots and he is crate trained. His favorite things are chewing on bones for hours and laying on top of his human’s chest all snuggled up. Last summer, Camden began to show a little aggression towards other animals and some guests that came to our home. He is great with our two children and other dog but has become very overprotective of our home and us. Camden also has had some submissive urination issues. Due to his aggressiveness and submissive urination issues, we enrolled him in 12 weeks of obedience classes. He knows basic commands, however his aggressive behavior and episodes of submissive urination continue and we are not in a position to enroll him in more specialized training at this time. Rehoming Cam is a very hard decision for our family to make, but because we do not have a fence, we are worried that Camden will accidentally get out and harm someone or another animal. Cam deserves a family who can give him the training and attention he needs. He should also have a fenced in yard where he does not have to be tied up, so he can run and expel his energy. Cam is located in Shrewsbury PA and if you’d like to offer him a forever home, please contact Erica Bettleyon at 410-982-1767 or ebettleyon@gmail.com.

Dibbs
>

Dibbs

This handsome boy is in need of an experienced JRT owner who can give him the guidance and direction he needs to thrive in a home! strong>Dibbs is a young, nearly 2 years old Jack Russell mix (possibly Beagle) who weighs just over 25 pounds. He is as cute as can be, is friendly, and quite playful. strong>Dibbs simply needs an owner with resource guarding experience. He loves his tennis ball and he won’t guard that but he will guard some toys and stuffed animals.  He does well with consistent training and is eager to please. He does well with limited, supervised playtime with other dogs, as long as no toys are present. This smart boy will be a wonderful companion and is so loving.  He just needs appropriate and consistent training. strong>Dibbs graduated from the BARK Behind Bars prison training program at Lawrenceville Correctional Center in late October. As a prison program graduate, he is crate trained, has great manners, and knows basic commands. Dibbs also learned more tricks than any other graduate in his class!  Now he's ready for the next chapter in life - a forever home of his own. Dibbs is up to date on shots, neutered and is approved for a home with children 16 and older. Please contact Shawn Riester, 804-690-5815 for additional information.  strong>Dibbs is currently with Bandit’s Adoption and Rescue of K9’s in Ashland, VA.

Max

Max

Max is a 10 year old purebred Jack with a heart for adventure. He's been with us his whole life and it's with a heavy heart that we have to find him a new home at this time. Max loves to be outside, running around for hours at a time. He was a farm dog for quite a few years. He would be happiest if he was in a single dog home because he loves being the center of attention. Small children are not his forte. He is crate and house trained, neutered and up to date on shots.

Max is currently located in Lancaster, PA and if you'd like to add him to your family, please contact Jayla at jaylamarshall3@gmail.com.

Joey

Joey

Say hello to strong>Joey, the sweetest Jack Russell mix (Chihuahua maybe?) that you will ever meet. strong>Joey was rescued from a near death experience at a local animal shelter where he'd overstayed his welcome and faced euthanasia. He had a large (non cancerous) tumor on his snout and no one wanted him. We adopted him from the shelter and our vet did such a great job removing the tumor that you'd never even know it was there! The vet believes he's between 4 and 6 years old. He is up to date on all shots, as well as micro chipped. strong>Joey is also neutered and crate trained. We've had him since October and he had settled into our routine fairly well. He sleeps in bed with us at night and is crated when we aren't home. If we are home -- he's loose and typically my shadow. If he's in his crate and can see you he WILL whine to be let out. Now that strong>Joey feels more comfortable in his home, he's become more aggressive with our children (3, 5, 10) which is forcing a new home with a more mature family. I believe strong>Joey would be best suited somewhere quiet, preferably where he is an only dog, or where the other dog is mellow and non aggressive. Joey loves to snuggle on the couch and in bed at night. He's never been aggressive about food with me, but when our German Shepherd comes in the room while he's eating, Joey get's extremely protective of his food. We believe he was a stray prior to winding up at the shelter and likely had to fight to find food. He's perfectly mannered on a leash, in the car, and he loves dog clothes. He'll come with leashes, harness, collar, and crate. strong>Joey also loves toys (he destroys them quickly) and he adores playing fetch. Joey is located in Chesterfield, VA. If you could give him the home that he deserves, please contact Chelsea at 804-467-4433 or chelseagiulinotovar@gmail.com.

Zoe

Zoe

Zoe is a 13-year-old, full bred Jack Russell Terrier, born from the pedigree of Kettle Creek Terriers, near Westfield, PA. She is in excellent health, all her shots are up to date, and she is spayed. She is also micro-chipped. Zoe is quite energetic for her age, very loyal, and works hard. She loves to get outside and go for walks and hikes, and is very good on a leash. Zoe also loves to just sleep by the fire. She has always been the guardian of our house, and alerts us of any intruders outside. Like many JRTs, she can at times be temperamental. Thus, she would not be an ideal match with other pets or small children, though she has gotten along fine with our son of 6 years, as long as he respects her space, and she was one of two Jacks we had for more than 10 years. Zoe would be an excellent companion for an experienced JRT owner. Perhaps a senior person or couple whose children have grown, and who are in need of a four-legged friend to go walking with? Zoe has lived with a rural family near Leesburg, VA all her life, but because we are now running a home daycare, we must find a new home for her where she does not have to be held in a pen or cage every day as many of our daycare clients are not comfortable with a dog on the premises. If you can provide a good home environment for this wonderful, beautiful dog, please contact John Sealine by email at jsealine1@juno.com.
